Fast week

Wow, it seems like this entire week has been in fast forward, feels like I wrote that lost post just a minute ago!

Anyways, I've been working and staying busy, still trying to find motivation and energy to study for SAT's. Anyone got any advice?

I dread tomorrow though, my two favorite shows release new episodes. And it's friday. So I'm pretty sure I'll do jack shit tomorrow, of value anyways.

The following video is fairly relevant as I work with financial PR (close to commercials, right?). And also, I love how beer brands are so creative with their commercials today, clear example in this video!

Tis the last day of the week

Hello!
So the weekend has come and gone, as usual the time just flies. I've been home in Sweden over the weekend, a lot of fun to meet all your friends again. Trying to be productive and study the SAT's, not going as well as I'd hoped I'm afraid.

Anyway, here is a link to a game which is a lot of fun, and it gives you some closure as well, so don't worry about being stuck for hours!

NEW OFFICE!

Not a physical one, but a new episode of "The Office" has just been released, the first episode of season 8. For those of you who aren't following it rigorously, Michael Scott is no longer the boss, and this episode informs us who got to take his job.

I'm not sure if I was in an extremely good mood, if the episode was extremely good or if it was because I haven't seen a new episode since May, but I really enjoyed it! Also, the new Community season is out so that ought to be great as well!

Leaving a good ol' Michael Scott clip from season 2, the episode is called "The Fire"

I was going to look up an actor on IMDB and this thing caught my eye on the front page. DiCaprio is amazing in pretty much everything he has done. Yes I'm a fanboy, sue me. And Eastwood… And the FBI in 30s-70s. This can't  go wrong. And it's released in November, so not the usual 2 year anticipation you have to endure when you realize a movie you might like is on it's way. Thoughts on the trailer?

Noticed a lot of people publish some tunes so I'd thought I'd try it out with a not so well known mash-up I've been shown. I really like the original "Home" by Edward Sharpe, but this is a lot different so I can enjoy that whistling without hearing the rest of the song I'm sick off! Gotta head out to work now, oh joy!

A tad more serious

Hello!

I recently got this link from a close friend of mine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDZFcDGpL4U&feature=youtu.be. It's an animation made by the RSAnimation group ( http://www.thersa.org/) to a speech made by Sir ken Robinson, who is a very creative fellow. It's an eleven minute clip, so I'll give you a briefing!

The topic is todays education system, and why it's so important for the current educational systems to evolve. The current systems were build on the fundamental principles of the enlightenement, with the economical mindset the industrial revolution brought upon the world. This was the first time a public school system was developed. And sadly, it's still the system we use. Seeing as how much more "active" todays kids are ( in the aspect of a lot of things to grab their attention, not physical activity), the schoolbench education that is used in a majority of the developed countries probably aren't the best way to approach todays youth. It's a very interesting clip so if you've got the time I suggest you watch it! The other reason why I linked this clip is that the story is told in such a comfortable way. To combine the simple and funny sketches with the very interesting speech makes it so more interesting, and you absorb the information so much easier!

Anyone have similar clips to this one? :)

Cheers
